Before we start:
1.) These swords use magic effects from various sources. So this is not exactely legal. I am not responsible for whatever happens if you use these. We clear? Good.
2.) This is a BETA release. It works fine in my game, but if you find that there are any textures, meshes or whatever missing, DROP ME A NOTE! A comment in the blog post should be fine. Or PM me over on TESNexus, username is chakaru11, duh.
3.) These swords do not have weapon meshes per se, they consist of (duh) light only, meaning all you will be holding in your hand is a neat magic effect. SHINY! Still, they are unenchanted, that is up to you.
Solais, Fragarath, Dyrnwyn – both in one and twohand versions, so say hi to six swords. And YES, I named them after famous Celtic swords. Sue me.
Weynon Priory Chapel. The “chest” is actually an animated (!!) ball of blue light, so you can’t miss it.
ISSUES AND BUGS:
Well, not all of the animations did carry over the way I wanted. Parts of Solais and Fragarath are not animated, which is a bug I can not fix. The animations work in Nifscope, but Oblivion refuses to play them. CURSE YOU, BETHESDA!
Duh. This is partly ripped content – but since these effects have never been used as weapons the way I did, I will recognize my stuff when I see it. So please be so kind to at least link back to my blog instead of reuploading these. Comments are love 🙂
